Job description

Quadrant Dental Practice is looking for an experienced individual to help develop the practice manager’s role within this fast moving practice. Under a new principalship, we are developing the practice towards a mixed general and specialist environment. We are a well established practice with a warm and friendly team and a passion for what we do.

The ideal candidate will be a motivated, energetic team player who is keen to work strategically and collaboratively with the principal and the staff. Experience in dental practice management is necessary although training in software will be provided.

There is an expectation that the role involves

  • financial management of the practice finance, with a clear knowledge of how to grow the profitability of a dental practice
  • strategic planning for attainment of KPI’s
  • management of CQC requirements,taking on the role of registered manager
  • HR management
  • development of team training and growth
  • a proactive approach to practice marketing
  • management of recruitment and induction of team members
  • patient communications

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year, dependent on experience

Dental Practice Manager – Fulltime Permanent – Suffolk

We are looking for a dental practice manager to join our practice. Dental experience preferred but training can be given for the right candidate.

What is the job?

As a Practice Manager you will be responsible for driving your practice’s performance by delivering set objectives relating to patient care, revenue targets, KPIs and cost management. You will recruit, retain and directly manage a team of professional self-employed Clinicians plus the employed support staff on site; Nurses, Receptionists and Cleaners. A Practice Manager is responsible for audit and financial processes which must be completed to company and CQC standards.

The role will include;

  • Ensuring the smooth, efficient and compliant running of the practice
  • Achieving excellent service to patients, quality of service, cost and delivery of performance in accordance with the company strategy and targets;
  • Providing support and direction to enhance performance, skills and knowledge of practice staff;
  • You will plan & drive the income targets for the practice;
  • Monitor KPIs & support clinicians to achieve NHS/private targets;
  • Enable good communication, including regular practice meetings;
  • Be able to face difficult conversations & deal promptly with issues/complaints when they arise;
  • To ensure the practice is a great place to work.
  • Have good knowledge of CQC regulations
The ideal candidate will be:
Friendly, flexible, highly motivated, enthusiastic, well presented, reliable and organized.
Have good knowledge of CQC regulations
Have excellent communication skills
Organised with good people management skills
Experienced with SOE preferable

Salary

You can expect to earn £24,960 to £37,000

Up to £10,000 bonus

50% KPI target achieved – bonus £2500

75% KPI target achieved – bonus £5000

100% KPI target achieved – bonus £10,000

 

if you achieve the target this year then next year then hike in base salary

50% KPI target achieved – 1% hike

75% KPI target achieved – 3% hike

100% KPI target achieved – 5%

Bonus to increase in same percentile – Bonus rules to remain as before

Salary negotiable depending on experience. This is a full-time role.

Working hours

You’ll usually work a regular 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday week, though you may on occasion have to work longer and on weekends to meet a project deadline or when attending an event or conference.

Flexible working may be possible.
